I've got full sets of gear for enhancement, elemental and resto and I can play them all quite well in PVE. My enhancement gear is probably my best but I enjoy playing as elemental much more. I generally prefer not to be counted on as a regular healer, but I might be willing to heal kara occasionally so don't be afraid to ask.


My ele gear is a mix of some really good cloth with some really bad mail and some in between. I try to keep spell crit on as many pieces as possible so I spend a lot of time critting which makes good use of my Lightning Capacitor. There are a lot of improvements I can make for gear but to be honest I'm too damn lazy. Despite this I tend to stay pretty high on the dps charts. Not to mention totems! I have the 41 pt totem which gives 3% spell hit and crit to my group. I'm hoping to get my 2nd piece of t4 for an additional 20 damage to my wrath of air totem.

Looks good all in all ... the chest and bracers need some work but with 2.3 coming out on Tuesday its hard to say for sure. My Ele set is far from done but already I have opted to get some cloth in there. It lowers my armor but if everyone is doing their job well I should not be getting hit . With season 3 around the bend look to farm some honor over the next 2 weekends, grab the season 1 chest and the upgraded PvP bracers. This should help with Crit % also, even tho it was nerfed the 60% redused mana after crits is huge for elemental staying power. Crafted items are also good but farming mats sucks and finding a crafter is even worse.

As far as a spec goes it looks good over all, if ya wana stay elemental for raids I think the 41 point totem is a must. Some things I would like to see, drop a point in Totemic Focus and go 3/3 Nature's Guidance. I would also like to see the 3 points in Elemental Warding go bye bye and the 1 point in Eye of The Storm. These seem to be more PvP than PvE and may be why you have them. I would prefer instead to see 4/5 Reverberation or 2/2 storm reach and 2/5 Reverberation.

To last in some of the 10+ min fights ahead of us you need way more than 65 mp5 while casting. Aim for about 85-100 mp5 while casting by the time we see SSC, another 1000 mana, and 500 hp. Enchants on some of your gear and a new trinket (has the one to summon drake in armory ) should do just fine to get you going.

No wories tho man. All of this stuff is just a Kara run or two away and a bit of PvP honor grinding. I am more excited to see you on the right track here than I am woried about some very minor things .

My ele gear is what it is because I was enhancement when I started Kara, and kinda just went ele on a whim and just went with it.

Honestly I was really happy with my enhnace gear, all I needed was a few hard heroics and or kara runs to round it all off.

I could really go either way depending on what's wanted, I can show you all my other sets if you want in game.

I haven't played a lot in the last few months but I'm starting to play more and I'm real excited about the 25's.
